As Cuba Distracted U.S. With Rights "Talks", Dissidents (Literally) Being Repressed Capitol Hill Cubans March 31, 2015
Today, Castro regime officials traveled to Washington, D.C. to lecture the Obama Administration on the "real meaning" of human rights and democracy.
Meanwhile -- back in reality -- Cuban dissidents were (literally) being brutally repressed (at the same time) by the Castro regime.
Over a dozen democracy activists took to the streets of Santa Clara in solidarity with their colleague and current political prisoner, Yuriet Pedroso Gonzalez, who has been on a hunger strike for over 30 days protesting his unjust imprisonment.
They were intercepted by the Castro regime's "Special Response Brigades" and violently beaten (men and women alike).
One of the protesters, Marcelino Abreu Bonora, who is also one of the 53 political prisoners released under the Castro-Obama deal, had his nose and jaw broken.
Below is a picture of the beatings and of Abreu's condition afterwards.
