The 28th political prisoner from Cuba, Alfredo Dominguez Batista, arrived this friday in Madrid, together with his family. Dominguez Batista was a member of the pro-democracy movement Movimiento Christiano de Liberación and was sentenced to 14 years prison in Fidel Castro’s repressive wave 2003. He like all the other of these political prisoners were transferred directly from prison to the airplane for transport to Spain.

None of them has received a formal written cancellation of their prison term, why they are not reallly free Cuban citizens, who can go back to Cuba whenever they like. 24 political prisoners from the 2003 wave of arrests are still waiting for the promised release, including those who want to stay  in Cuba and have refused to be deported. The Cuban government is leaving them to the end of this release show, if they will ever be released, hoping they will change their mind. Raúl Castro really wants to get rid of the governments hardest and most corageous critics and their families.
